| okay so. me, bree, jacey, jackie, my sister taylor, and her friend merri get out of the car to see this INSANE line of girls. so we walked to the front and there was a camera guy there. so we like talked to the camera guy and then just followed the line all the way out back. and we waited. and this black SUV pulls up and out comes jack, greg, & john. and we were like AHHHHH. and greg waved at us cause he like knows us from mohegan and whatnot. so we stand there waiting for like an hour, when two more SUVs pull up. and we were on the left side of the SUV, but the boys were getting out of the right side of the SUV. so we slam on the windows and kevin turns and like waves to us and smiles and points to our shirts and we were like ITS US. so jacey runs around the car and screams NIIIIIIIIICK and he points at her and waves. so we were like time to go. so we were walking toward the line again, and we see big rob. so we all like pat him on the back and we were like WE LOVE YOU and he was like "hey, wassup." and we walk past another SUV with paul & denise in it, so i like tap the window and wave and then we get inside. so we're waiting for the show to begin when random girls start showing up with meet & greet bracelets. and some lady was giving them away if you had a cool sign. and we were like, our shirts are SO much better. so we like stalked her but she was so mean and was like "those are cute, now move." so they open up and are playing and its just like any other show, except AMAZING. and nick keeps looking at us cause he like remembers us from 6 flags. so at one point, we just take off our amazing shirts and he keeps on looking at us. so we're like "nick jonas, your so checking us out!" so we were just having fun and like rocking out. and we notice denise in like a balcony like thing standing with a woman and a girl. and we KNOW the girl. we go to school with her, so we were like AHH OLIVIA. so then nick starts to sing "you don't even know" or "a little bit longer" or whatever its called. and me and my friend jacey start BAWLING our eyes out. and he's like looking up at us cause everything went silent and all you can hear is our sobs. so he was like looking at us and we didnt stop until the song was over. but he got really into it so it lasted like forever. so then like, it was over and we were totally fine and everything was awesome. so they start to finish filming the "when you look me in the eyes" music video at our concert, and me and jacey take off our shirts and are waving them around again. but we were in tanktops but we were like AH WE TOOK OUR SHIRTS OFF IN A MUSIC VIDEO. so it was really funny, cause they kept looking up at the girls who were like waving around shirts. aka us. so then during year 3000, bree takes a ring from jacey and THROWS it onstage. and it hits joe off the head and lands next to him. and then like 2 minutes later, we throw lipgloss and it nearly misses nick and lands on a piano. so they continue playing and nick smiles and points at us. it was like a "you guys are throwing stuff at us and we know" kind of smile so we were like SORRY. and then kevin like smiled at us so we were like ah. they know its us. so then it was over and we were sad but we start screaming OLIVIA. the girl from our school. and yeah, she sees us so we walk over and start talking to her and denise is watching us so we were like HI DENISE, HOW ARE YOU and she smiled and yeah. so we get to CVS and we're alll dizzy and stuff and my friend jacey falls. and we were freaking out but she had some red bull and she was okay. it was scary though.

| Chapter 41. The girls walked across the parking lot in silence, staring as the soles of their flip-flops hit the pavement with simultaneously thwacks. They greeted the boys with a smile, stepping up off of the street onto the curb. Kevin rushed to the door, immediately remembering how much girls liked chivalry, and held it open for them. "Thanks." Jackie said quietly, smiling up at him. He nodded his head and waited until everyone was in Panera, and followed them to one corner of the restaurant. They pushed a few tables together, and sat in an awkward silence.
"So, is there anything good at this place?" Joe said, squinting his eyes up at the menu that was displayed across the wall. The girls shrugged, and a sneaky grin crept across Jacey's face. She figured that Joe and Bree obviously wouldn't talk about personal issues around everyone else. It was their business, and only their business, right? She stood up and grabbed Nick's wrist, pointing towards the line that was in front of the cash register. "Let's all just get bagels. Everyone gets bagels." She said, pulling Nick into a standing position. Kevin raised an eyebrow at Mariah, who was picking at her nails. She looked up and blinked a few times, furrowing her brow. Why was Jacey holding onto Nick's wrist? She stood up and nodded, pointing at Jackie and Kevin. "How about we go help them. Bagels, and, uh...we'll figure what everyone wants for a drink up there. C'mon, guys!" Mariah quickly followed Jacey and Nick up to the line, with Kevin and Jackie close behind.
A young, middle-school couple had gotten in front of Mariah, Jackie, and Kevin, holding hands and rubbing noses, completely obscuring Mariah's view of Nick and Jacey. She wrinkled her nose up at the couple in front of them, repulsed with the amount of PDA that was happening in front of him. Besides, the boy she was pretty much in love with was with another girl, even though that girl was one of her best friends. Girls go crazy when it comes to boys, and Mariah could honestly say she was feeling uneasy. She stood on her tiptoes, trying to look over the couple that was now making out in front of her. She stumbled forward, grabbing their shoulders to keep her balance. They drew away, shooting her dirty looks, and she only shrugged. Jackie tapped her on the shoulder and she whipped around, glaring. "What?" She snapped, and Kevin's eyes widened. "What's wrong with you?" Jackie asked, and Mariah shook her head. "Sorry, just a little distracted." She said, and Kevin looked over at Nick and Jacey, who were laughing. "Nick?" Kevin and Jackie said at the same time, laughing at one another. Mariah raised an eyebrow, confused as to when the two had officially started flirting again. Her memory jetted back to the night they were lying on the couch together, and she suddenly came to the realization that they were together in a way. "No." Mariah said bluntly, and Jackie rolled her eyes, turning to Kevin. "That means yes." Mariah shrugged, and folded her arms. "So, I like the boy. Is that so bad?" Kevin shook his head and grinned, "No, that's actually excellent." Mariah turned towards Jacey and Nick, just as Jacey grabbed his hand. She sighed out loud, and Kevin put an arm around her. "Ry, Nick's got a good head on his shoulders. He'll come to his senses sooner or later." He assured, and Mariah looked up at him. "I guess."
Back at the table, Joe and Bree were finally talking. "I just don't understand how you can mean so much to me, and I mean basically nothing to you." Bree sighed, and Joe shook the hair out of his eyes, placing a hand on Bree's arm. "You mean a lot more to me than you think, Bree." He said soothingly, and she looked up at him, a small smile playing across her face. "So, you mean I'm not just another 10 digit number in your iPhone?" She joked, and he laughed loudly, causing people to turn and stare. "No, you're a lot more than that." He nodded, grabbing her hand, entwining his fingers with hers. She smiled at him and shook her head, causing her curls to bounce. "You're lucky you're so cute." She said, tapping his nose with her finger, just as Jacey and Nick walked up towards the table. Jacey was laughing at something Nick was saying, and Joe looked at Nick curiously. I thought he was with Mariah again, he thought to himself, but brushed off the thought. If Mariah and Nick were together, they would've said so.
Mariah returned towards the table, her heart sinking as she watched Jacey scoot her chair closer to Nick. She absolutely loved Jacey; they were best friends, and could constantly make one another laugh. But something about the way Jacey talked to Nick made Mariah feel uneasy, the way Nick laughed at Jacey made Mariah feel unsure. Some more drama was brewing, and Mariah was sick of it. this is the first time i officially introduce Jacey. she's actually one of my best friends, and we're both in love with Nick. she's not the bad person in this story, i just told her i'd write her in, and she adds some nice drama. | | |
| Chapter Forty ♥
The girls woke up at 8 in the morning, as they usually try to. Everybody's cell phone went off, playing Nick singing Year 3000. On cue, as usual, they all murmered "Shut up, Nick." and turned off the alarm they had set on their phones. Finally, at 2 in the afternoon, Jacey woke up. She yawned, pulling her auburn-ish hair into a messy ponytail that rested on the side of her head. She put her glasses on and sighed, staring at Bree, Mariah, and Jackie, whom all were still sleeping. She pushed Mariah, but Mariah didn't budge. 'That girl could sleep through anything' Jacey thought, as she pushed her again, but Mariah slapped her wrist away. 'Maybe not.' She shrugged and stood up.
Jacey walked over to the CD player that was convieniently placed between two huge speakers. She popped in a CD and cranked the volume up, laughing quietly to herself. She loved being the person to wake everybody up, but it was even funner when she did it in a cruel way. She pressed play, and 'Mandy' was blasting through the speakers. The girls sat up, throwing alarmed looks around the room. Finally, they came to the realization that Jacey was just being Jacey again, so they groaned, shaking their heads. "Shut that thing up." Bree screamed, and Jacey pressed stop, smirking. "Um, do you have ice cream?" Jackie asked. "Yup." Mariah smiled, blinking after she put her contacts in."
The girls walked into her kitchen, grabbing the ice cream and toppings and whatnot and making sundaes. They were all sitting there when Mariah looked at Bree. "So, how are you and Joe?" She asked, scooping some caramel up on her finger and eating it. "I haven't talked to him in a while." She said sullenly, and Mariah rolled her eyes. "You can't avoid him forever." Jacey pointed out, and Bree nodded. "I know. But we were texting last night and we're gonna talk it all out at Panera today. BT-dubbs, you guys are coming and sitting with Kev and Nick." They all nodded and finished their ice creams in silence, getting ready for that day.
Bree drove them to Panera, and was backing into a parking space when Jacey grabbed her wrist. "There's a woman behind the car, stupid." She laughed, just as the lady came to the side of the car. She was staring in the window and Mariah put it down, sticking her curly head out of it. "Hi." She said as the lady looked at her with an appalled look. "Are you trying to back in?" She said, and Mariah had to pinch herself to restrain from laughing at her british accent. "Yeah, we are..." She said slowly and the woman widened her eyes. "You've nearly run me over!" She exclaimed and Mariah nodded. "Sorry." She said, rolling her window up as the car burst into giggles. They looked in the direction of Panera, where three very familiar looking boys were waiting for them, their hands tucked into the pockets of their skinny jeans. "It's now or never, Bree." Jackie said and the girls piled out of the car, walking towards them. i don't really like this chapter. i was having a bad day, so its a filler. but that last thing, about the british lady, really happened to us today at Panera. oh my gosh it was so funny. | | |
